STATEMENT OF POLICY
Engineered Specialties, Inc. distributes and installs merchandise exclusively
for commercial businesses. It is our policy not to sell to retail consumers.
We reserve the right to refuse to sell to any person(s) or company.
CREDIT
To buy merchandise on an “Open Account”, you must submit a credit application
with complete ownership information, banking and trade references. Additional
financial information may be required. A personal guarantee may be required.
TERMS
Net 30 days. Past due balances will be subject to a 1.5% late fee. Mail all

PRICING
We provide a quote with our most current pricing. Our intention is to hold these
prices for 30 days. However, we reserve the right to change prices during the
30 days in response to unexpected price changes from a manufacturer or to correct
errors.
SPECIAL ORDERS, QUOTES, CATALOG NON-STOCK, AND QUICK SHIP
We show special order and quick ship items in our catalog so as to offer the
most complete selection possible to our customers. We also welcome the opportunity
to quote on other non-stock special order items and/or large quantities and bids.
All items must be ordered in increments of standard packaging. Non stock special
order items are not returnable. Manufacturers may require minimum order quantities.
SHIPPING
We ship via a combination of ESI trucks, common carriers, and UPS. All shipments
are normally prepaid. For ESI trucks, freight charges and allowances appear
on the invoice with your merchandise. For common carriers and UPS, charges and
allowances are typically included with material delivered. C.O.D. shipments are
shipped freight collect. Every effort will be made to ship merchandise via your
preferred carrier.
Under ICC regulations, title to all goods consigned to a common carrier occurs
at the time the carrier receives the merchandise. Our signed receipt from a common
carrier considered delivered on our part . Claims for loss or damage are between
you and the freight carrier. It is your responsibility to properly inspect merchandise
at time of delivery and to note any damages on the freight bill before signing.
RETURNS
All returns must be authorized and accompanied by a Return Authorization Number
issued through our customer service department. Discontinued merchandise is not
returnable. Merchandise returned to our warehouse “collect” or without an Return
Authorization Number will be refused. Authorized returns are those due to customer
error, warehouse error or factory defect. Notification must be made to us with
5 days of receipt. All merchandise (excluding defective) accepted for return must
be in saleable condition, in the original undamaged carton with all internal packaging
intact, free of all markings, unused, not having been assembled and put back in
the box, and of such appearance as to be commonly acceptable as “new.” Items
in the customer possession over 15 days will be subject to a 25% restocking charge.
No returns will be accepted after 30 days.
PRODUCT WARRANTY
Only such warranties made by the manufacturer of the goods are available to
the Buyer. ESI makes no warranty of any kind, whatsoever, express or implied;
and any implied warranty of merchant ability or fitness for a particular purpose
is hereby disclaimed by ESI. ESI shall not be liable for any consequential damage,
loss, or expense arising from the use or inability of use of the goods for any
purpose whatsoever.
SALES TAXES
Sales taxes will be charge where applicable.

PRIVACY
We are very concerned about protecting our customers’ rights to privacy. User
identification and account information collected within this site is used to improve
our customer service. Information provided will not be released to outside sources.
E-mail addresses collected will be used to notify customers about updates to our
site and for our marketing purposes only. If you do not wish to receive e-mail
from us, please respond to any unsolicited e-mail and ask us to remove you from
our list.
