EZ Fold designed and patented the “Tetrahedral”, or back-to-back right triangle
backstop frame. This frame geometry produces an extremely rigid structural system
by directing the support braces toward the point of ball impact, resulting in
the shortest vibration recovery time in the industry. This design concept is so
clearly superior to “uniframe” and “double-drop” type frames that “T” frames are
now the industry standard.
Draper EZ Fold Basketball Backstops have a 25-Year Limited Warranty. Draper also
offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty on all its basketball backboards incorporating
EZ Fold Goal Brace. This brace attaches behind the goal mounting plate and directly
to the main stem of the backstop, eliminating strain on the backboard. The Goal
Brace conforms to NCAA and NFSHSA recommendations and is standard on EZ Fold "T"
series backstops using glass backboards.
